We have released a set of new routing options that allow users to customize their routes more precisely to their preferences and needs. These settings are available in the route planning tool app.bikenavi.fi mixed In the Android mobile app.
Route planning
New settings are in effect for route planning app.bikenavi.fi. With settings you can:
- Avoid highways, if you want to ride quieter routes or enjoy the scenery without high speed limits.
- Avoid ferries, in which case the route is formed entirely by land without crossing water bodies.
- Avoid customs fees roads, in which case routing is directed towards toll-free sections.
- Avoid uncoated roads, where the route runs only on paved sections

Android's revamped shortcut function
The Android app's shortcut feature allows the user to take advantage of new routing settings directly when creating a shortcut.
Additionally, the route can be continued by adding waypoints to itPoints can also be move and delete easily on the map, enabling quick and flexible route editing on a mobile device. This makes route planning even more effortless, even on the go.
Android Edit my route
In the Android app, users can now edit their own routes more flexible. Waypoints can be transfer and remove mixed continue, which enables quick fine-tuning, for example, according to changing plans.
Adding waypoints between routes is not yet possible, but the feature is under development. However, users can use the ability to edit existing points to shape the route and adjust the route as desired.
We will also release the same features to the iOS app, we will announce a more detailed schedule as soon as the features are available.
