The iPhone app has been updated!

We have released a major update to the Bikenav iPhone app. The update addresses two of our biggest user requests: guided navigation and completely renovated clear and optimized map templates. New map templates make route planning even more accurate, as Maps now clearly show unpaved roads. This will help you choose the routes that best suit your bike and riding style. We've also made improvements to the zoom level controls and different navigation modes.
We have also brought a comprehensive weather information as part of app.bikenavi.fi route planning.

The app now actively guides you throughout your journey. You don't have to follow the route, as the app also tells you exactly when it's time to turn.

The choice is still yours: Although the new guidance makes driving effortless, you can still follow the route in the traditional way, directly from the map without active guidance – just like before.

• Clear visual instructions: You can see the direction and distance of the next turn directly on the screen.

• Audio guide: You can follow the route through headphones, allowing your phone to stay in your pocket or on a stand without disturbing your view.

• Automatic rerouting: If you deviate from the planned route, the app will immediately calculate a new cycling-friendly route to your destination.

We have updated all map templates in the app to make route planning and navigation smoother, more accurate, and visually clearer. At the same time, we have enriched the map base with a significant amount of new spatial data., making finding destinations and understanding your surroundings easier than ever.

With the update, you can easily identify unpaved roads on the map by their orange color. This makes it easier to choose the right route and helps you predict the quality of the road surface at a glance. Information is navigation and clarity on the map.

Weather is an essential part of a successful trip. We have added to the planning app.bikenavi.fi comprehensive weather information that lets you monitor conditions in real time. In addition, you have access to accurate 5 days a forecast that helps you prepare for the future and fine-tune your plans well in advance.

• Wind and temperature: Plan your route with wind conditions in mind and be prepared with the right equipment. Now you can check the weather forecast for your entire route without leaving the app.
