Send the route to a friend, for example via WhatsApp
We have released a new route sharing feature that makes transferring routes between Bikenavi users even faster. The feature was first released For iOS version mixed app.bikenavi planning program, and the Android version will follow soon.
While traditional GPX export is still a viable way to share routes, the new link sharing is designed specifically for instant sharing between mobile users.
Note: The feature is available to Bikenavi subscribers.
This is how it works
- Open Bikenavi mobile app or route planning app.bikenavi.fi
- On mobile
- Select settings
- Select My routes
- Search the route you want to share.
- In route planning
- Select My routes
- Search the route you want to share.
- Select three dots (…) menu item Share route.
- The application creates a route unique link, which you can send to your friend, for example By WhatsApp or Email
- Send link
- Receiving: open the link and save the route
- The route is ready to use. In the Bikenavi app and in the design tool at app.bikenavi.fi.
